Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science in Kyaukse Technological University offers Bachelor of Engineering Degree for Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science.

Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science Department in Kyaukse Technological University was established in 1999. Therefore Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science Department of KTU is 16 years old in engineering education service.
Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science department have 200 undergraduate students who are learning First year to Sixth year receptively and provides Undergraduates Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science engineering students.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)

1. Produce qualified engineer who is technical competence for creativity and innovation through application of formulate, solve, analyze and research tools to find solutions of complex metallurgical and science engineering problems.
2. Nurture engineer who communicate effectively and participate as leader or active member not only in the metallurgical engineering and materials science sector but also in multidisciplinary environment.
3. Foster development of engineer who practice professional ethic, consider public health and safety, continual development and life-long learning.

Upon completion of the programme, students will be able to attain:

An ability of identify, formulate and solve metallurgical engineering problems.
