Electricla Power engineering in Kyaukse Technological University offers Bachelor of Engineering Degree for Electricla Power.

Electricla Power engineering Department in Kyaukse Technological University was established in 1999. Therefore Electricla Power engineering Department of KTU is 16 years old in engineering education service.
Electricla Power engineering department have 400 undergraduate students who are learning First year to Sixth year receptively and provides Undergraduates Electricla Power engineering students.


► To provide highest electrical engineering education in order to produce leader engineering who can expert theoretical, practical, creative and ethical responsibilities


► To provide excellent standards of quality education the morals and ethical leaders by keeping pace with rapidly changing technologies

Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)

1. Graduates of the programme will apply fundamental scientific and engineering principles to solve complex engineering problems systematically, creatively and innovatively with the aids of modern analytical and design tools to contribute to the advancement of Electrical Power engineering knowledge and practice.
2. Graduates of the programme will have multi-disciplinary knowledge leadership and innovative skills to design and develop electrical power system and power electronic drives.
3. Graduates of the programme will possess good communication skill, team spirit and ethics to be successful in life-long learning.

Programme Outcomes

Upon completion of the programme, students will be able to:
Apply the knowledge of Mathematics, Science, Engineering Fundamentals, Power Electronic Drives and Electrical Engineering to the solution of complex problems in engineering.
Formulate and analyze the complex problems in Electrical Engineering using first principles of mathematics, science and Engineering to derive conclusions.
Design and development of Electrical and Electronic drives that meet specified needs with the considerations for the societal and environmental issues.
Analyse complex problems in electrical apparatus and energy systems using research based knowledge and research methods to provide valid solutions.
Apply appropriate tools and techniques for the modelling and analysis of Electrical and Electronic devices and systems.
Apply Knowledge gained to assess societal, safety and cultural issues relevant to the professional engineering practice.
Understand the impact of solutions in electrical engineering field in societal and environmental contexts and demonstrate the importance of sustainable development.
